Go Travel Group is a member of Holiday Direct Limited. Holiday Direct Limited is a retail agent to ATOL holders.
Holiday Direct Travel Group members use a centralized 'Trust Account' which holds your funds until the money is paid to another body (bonded holiday suppliers) The holiday supplier then becomes legally responsible for the protection of the funds and for providing you with the holiday as agreed.
An independent Trustee has been appointed who authorizes, in conjunction with Holiday Direct Limited., the release of funds from the Trust Account. This is to protect your funds in the event of financial failure of your travel agent or Holiday Direct Limited.
In practice, this means that in the event of the financial failure of your travel agent or Holiday Direct Travel Group, before your holiday, your funds remain available for refund or to reinstate your tour with another tour operator.
