ErmeiMountain, one of four Buddhism original places for thousands of years, is an ideal place for you to explore Chinese Buddhism culture. Then the Giant Buddha of Leshan, the tallest stone Buddha statue in the world, is ancient Chinese people’s hope of preventing the turbulent waters from the shipping vessels with the help of the Buddha. In addition, traveling in deluxe ship, we have the opportunity to relax and enjoy some of China’s most spectacular scenery.
 

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 Bejing
Transfer via: TBA, on your own arrangement. Arrive in Beijing . Be met & transferred to your hotel by a friendly tour guide. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.
 
Day 2 Bejing
Full day city tour includes visits of theTian'anmen Square - the biggest public square in the world and Forbidden City (GuGong in Chinese) which is used to be the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, now known as the Palace Museum. After lunch visit the Temple of Heaven, the place for the emperors to worship the God (heaven) for good harvest in ancient China.
 
Day 3 Bejing
A memorable daylong excursion combines the soul-stirring Great Wall that across northern China like a winding dragon with the Sacred Way, guarded by sculpted stone animal both real and fabulous, which are photographers’ delight. Finally, visit the Ming Tomb.
 
Day 4 Bejing to X'ian
Take a Hutong Tour by rickshaw in the morning to see Chinese ancient building. Take an afternoon flight to Xi’an. Arrive in Xi’an. Be met & transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.
 
Day 5 Xi'an
You will have a whole day visit to the famous historical site of the Qin Terracotta Warriors. More than 6000 life -sized terracotta figures of soldiers and horses in perfect battle array show the superb sculptural art of that time. Afterwards, visit the Wild Goose Pagoda.
 
Day 6 Xian to Chengdu
Visit the Provincial Museum , the Ancient City Wall and the Bell Tower . Take an afternoon flight to Chengdu . Once you arrive at Chengdu , you'll be met & transferred to the hotel with your private guide & vehicle. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.
 
Day 7 Chengdu
One day tour to visit the Dufu Thatched Cottage which is a cottage restored in Ming Dynasty and a memorial spot for a great Tang Dynasty poet, Du Fu. Then visit the Wuhou Temple , which was built by Li Xiong in the Western Jin Dynasty (about 1,100 years ago) in memory of Zhuge Liang, prime minister of Shu Kingdom during the Three Kingdoms Period(220-80AD). Afterwards take a visit to the Panda Research Centre where you will have a chance to see the Panda and finally the Wangjiang Park .
 
Day 8 Chengdu
Visit Dujiang Yan Dam , which was built 2,000 years ago. Dujiangyan Irrigation System was used to irrigate the western Sichuan plain as well as avoiding floods. This area is the most fertile land in China due to this water system to a great extent. Next visit Sanxingdui ruins , which is recognized as one of the most important ancient remains in the world for its vast size, lengthy period and enriched cultural contents.
 
Day 9 Chengdu to Ermei Mountain
Be transferred to Ermei Mountain by bus, which is one of the most famous mountains for Buddhism in China . Visit Baoguo Temple at the foot of mountain and take a cable car up to the top of mountain.
 
Day 10 Ermei Mountain to Leshan & Chengdu
Be transferred to Leshan by bus. Visit Leshan Great Buddla - the biggest Buddhism statue in the world with the height of 71 meters and the history of over 900 years. Cruise on the river in Leshan. Drive back to Chengdu by bus.
 
Day 11 Chengdu to Chongqing
Be transferred to the airport. Take a flight to Chongqing . Arrive in Chongqing , be greeted at the airport by your tour guide and transferred to visit General Stewell Museum who was the chief commander of US forces in the China-Burma-India Theatre during World War II. In the Erling Park you can take a bird's eye view of the whole city of Chongqing . Visit the lovely Panda at Zoo and then go to the People's Hall which is a giant traditional building with a large square. Be transferred to harbor for boarding the ship.
 
Day 12 Yangtze River Cruise

Day 14 Yangtze River Cruise to Yichang & Shanghai
Finish your excursion and arrive in Yichang . Disembark and be transferred to Yichang airport. Take a flight to Shanghai . Arrive in Shanghai , be met & transferred to the hotel with your private guide & vehicle. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.
 
Day 15 Shanghai
Visit the famous Jade Buddha Temple with a 2m high sitting white Jade Buddha and the 400-year old Yu Yuan Garden, decorated with masterpieces of Ming architecture, as well as the Old Town & the Bund. You also have a chance to visit the Shanghai Museum and the famous Nanjing Road among crowds.
 
Day 16 Depart Shanghai
Free at leisure until to be transferred to the airport for your flight home.
